So the time has come for puppies to go to their homes. Lily is trying to wean them and as far as she and I am concerned they are already weaned. That doesn’t stop them from trying to nurse and the only time she allows this is first thing in the morning. The rest of the time she is running from them or giving them the slip by jumping over them . She occasionally growls and that seems to make it hit home that there are no more meals from her at least! The litter has learned to come when called inside and how to go outside down the steps several times a day. They play quietly in the morning but at about 8 they are asking out and hungry. Two puppies went already this week and one more goes Saturday, the rest start leaving over the next week and a couple are still looking for their owners!
